We have developed a community quality of life approach that incorporates recent developments in health and health promotion, participatory research, and a new model of quality of life.  At our www site http://www.utoronto.ca/qol there is information  about the approach, free copies of our community reports, and information about obtaining our "How to Carry Out a Community Quality of Life" manual. The project was a collaboration of the University of Toronto, two community health centres, two public health departments, the Metro Toronto District Health Council, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.
